How do I share my online RSVP link with guests?

Answered by the UK Wedding Websites editorial team · Updated 2026-10-12 · For guests

Short answer

Put the RSVP link on your wedding website homepage, on your paper invitations, and in a text or email to each guest. You can also print a QR code on your save the date cards.

The easiest way is to include the link on your wedding website, and then send the website address to everyone. If you are sending paper invitations, add the website URL clearly on the invitation or on a separate details card. You can also print a QR code that guests scan with their phone camera, which takes them straight to the RSVP page. This works well on save the dates, invitation inserts or even on a small card in the envelope.

For guests who are less confident online, you can send a text message or email with the link a few days after they receive the invitation. Some wedding website builders give you a personalised short link, which is easier to type than a long one. If you have older guests, you can offer to collect their RSVP by phone or post instead, but still ask them to confirm their meal choice. Always test the link yourself on a phone and a computer before you send it out, to make sure it works.
