Terms of sale
The agreement between you and us when you order a wedding website, e-invite or add-on. Last updated 11 October 2026.
1. Who we are
UK Wedding Websites is a trading name of FAT PRINT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17494787. Registered office: Unit 3, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. Trading address: Unit 3-F, 116 Bury New Road, Manchester M8 8EB. Email: hello@ukweddingwebsites.com.
"You" means the person who places the order. These terms apply to every order on ukweddingwebsites.com.
2. What you are buying
We design, build and host a wedding website or e-invite for you, using the package and theme you choose. Each package includes what is listed on our prices page on the day you order. Add-ons are extras you can buy with a package, or later from your dashboard.
- E-Invite covers one event and stays online until three months after the wedding.
- Wedding Website covers up to three events. Each extra event is charged as an add-on. It stays online for 12 months from the day it goes live.
- Signature and Bespoke cover unlimited events and stay online for 12 months from the day they go live.
- You can keep any website online for another year with the "Keep online another year" add-on.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full price you pay. We take payment by card on our secure checkout, processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
For Bespoke, you pay a 50% deposit when you order. We invoice the balance when your website is ready to go live, and it goes live once the balance is paid.
4. Building your website
- After you pay, you get an account and a dashboard. We email you within one working day to collect anything we still need, such as event times, venues, your story and your photos.
- We aim to send your preview within 48 hours of having everything we need. Signature is ready within 24 hours, and so is any package with the 24-hour rush add-on. Bespoke timings are agreed with you.
- Changes: E-Invite includes one round of changes, Wedding Website two rounds, and Signature and Bespoke unlimited changes until the wedding day. A round is one list of changes sent together. Correcting our own mistakes never uses up a round.
- Your website goes live when you tell us you are happy with the preview.
5. Your content
You confirm that you have the right to use the words, photos, music and other material you send us, and that guests have agreed to the photos you choose to show. We may refuse content that is unlawful or that could harm someone. You keep the rights to your content. You let us use it only to build, host and run your website.
Guest photo uploads are private until you choose which ones to show.
6. Your guests' details
Your guests' replies, meal choices and dietary notes are used only to run your wedding website and your dashboard. We never sell them or use them for marketing. We delete them six months after the wedding, or when your website goes offline if that is later. Our privacy notice explains this in full.
7. Cancelling and refunds
You have 14 days from your order to cancel for any reason. When you order, you ask us to start work straight away. If you cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you paid, minus a fair amount for the work already done. Once your website has gone live at your request, the service has been provided and the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies.
To cancel, email hello@ukweddingwebsites.com with your order number. We refund to the card you paid with within 14 days.
If your wedding is postponed, we move your dates and your website at no charge. If it is cancelled after your website has gone live, we take it offline on request and delete your guests' details.
8. If something goes wrong
If your website is not as described, tell us and we will fix it quickly. If we cannot fix it, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund for the part that is not right. This does not affect your legal rights.
We work hard to keep every website online, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, for example during maintenance or because of a fault at our hosting or payment providers. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, for problems caused by your content or by third-party services you link to, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Your own domain
Where a package or add-on includes your own domain, we register or connect it for the time stated, in your name or ours. We will help you move it elsewhere if you want to keep it after that.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms in force on the day you order apply to that order.
11. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a complaint, email us first and we will reply within five working days.
