How do I add a QR code to my wedding RSVP website?

Answered by the UK Wedding Websites editorial team · Updated 2026-10-12 · For guests

Short answer

You can add a QR code by using the generator inside your wedding website builder, or by creating one online and uploading the image to your invitations or save-the-dates.

Most wedding website builders have a built-in QR code generator, often found in the settings or sharing section. It will create a code that links directly to your RSVP page. If your builder does not have one, you can use a free online QR code generator. Paste your website address, choose a simple design, and download the image. Then place that image on your paper invitations, save-the-date cards or thank-you notes. Make sure the code is large enough to scan easily, at least 2cm by 2cm. Print it in black on white for the best contrast. Test it yourself with your phone before you print. You should also include the website address in text, in case someone cannot scan the code. On the day, you can put a small sign with the QR code on the welcome table, so guests who forgot to RSVP can do it there. Remember that QR codes work best when the link is short, so if your website address is long, use a short link from your builder or a free link shortener. Keep the code on a plain background and do not crop it too tightly.
