The best man's main job is to be the groom's right hand from the engagement to the wedding day. Before the wedding, he usually helps plan and host the stag do, sometimes with the ushers. He also helps with practical tasks like sorting transport, collecting suits or calming nerves on the morning of the wedding.

On the day itself, the best man makes sure the groom is dressed, on time and ready.
