Short answer
We do not provide free templates, but you can easily create your own using a word processor or design software. Start with a simple folded card, list the ceremony order, and add your names and date. Many stationery websites also offer editable templates for a small fee.
You do not need a special template to make a beautiful order of service. A simple design works well: a folded A5 card with your names on the front and the ceremony order inside. You can use a word processor to create a table or a simple list, then add a border or a small illustration. If you want something more polished, many online stationery shops sell editable templates that you can customise with your own wording. You can also ask your printer, who may offer a design service as part of your order. Remember that the order of service is not a legal document, so you have complete freedom over the layout and wording. A typical structure is: entrance music, welcome, readings, vows, rings, declaration, signing, recessional. You can also include the full text of your vows or a favourite poem, and a line thanking guests for coming. If you are having a religious ceremony, check with your place of worship whether they have a preferred format or wording. For a civil ceremony, your registrar can confirm the legal parts that must be included, such as the declaratory words and the contracting vows. Once you have your draft, ask a friend to read it through for typos, and print a few extras for guests who arrive without one.
