What pages should be on a wedding website?

Answered by the UK Wedding Websites editorial team · Updated 2026-10-12 · For guests

Short answer

Have separate pages for Home, Our Story, The Day, Travel and Accommodation, RSVP, Gift List, and Contact or FAQs. That keeps everything clear and easy to find.

A simple structure works best. Start with a Home page that greets guests and shows the date and venue at a glance. Add an Our Story page with your photos and how you met. The Day page should list the full schedule, from ceremony to evening party, with timings and locations for each part.

Travel and Accommodation is essential for out-of-town guests. Include directions by car, train and bus, plus nearby hotels or B&Bs. The RSVP page should let guests respond for every event, such as the ceremony, meal and evening reception. You can also add a Gift List page, either with a link to an external list or a simple note about what you would prefer.

Finally, include a Contact or FAQs page. Answer common questions like parking, dress code, children, and whether there is a bar. Keep each page short and friendly. You do not need many pages, just the ones that answer what guests will ask. If you are not sure, ask a friend or family member what they would want to know.
