How to find a couples registry?

Answered by the UK Wedding Websites editorial team · Updated 2026-10-12 · For guests

Short answer

Ask the couple directly for the link, as most couples share their registry on their wedding website or in the invitation. If you cannot find it, contact the couple or their wedding party for the details.

Most couples today put their gift list on their wedding website, so start there. Look for a page called Gifts, Registry, or Honeymoon Fund. If you have the invitation, check the back or an insert card, which often lists the website address and where the couple is registered.

Some couples still prefer traditional gift lists held by high street stores. If you have a physical invitation, the address on it may point you to a shop. You can also ask the couple's parents, the best man, or a member of the bridal party. They will know where the couple has signed up and can share the link.

If the couple has chosen to give no gifts, respect that choice. Many couples now ask for donations to charity or contributions toward their honeymoon instead. Your presence at the wedding is what matters most. If you are unsure, a quiet message to the couple or their wedding party is always the kindest approach.
