Short answer
Create a Google Photos album and share it with a link that lets anyone add their own photos. This gives guests a simple place to upload their snaps of your day.
Open Google Photos on your phone or computer and start a new album. Name it something clear, like your names and wedding date, so guests know exactly what it is. Add a few of your own photos first so people see what you are looking for.
Next, share the album and choose the option that lets others add their own photos. Copy the link and put it on your wedding website, in a QR code on a welcome board, or in your RSVP confirmation email. You can also set a deadline so uploads stop after a few weeks.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Ask guests to sign in with their own Google account before adding photos. This stops strangers from joining.
- Tell guests what to upload, such as group shots or candid moments, and remind them to delete any blurry or duplicate files.
- Check the album regularly and thank people who share their best snaps.
If you want more control over who can join, you can invite people by email instead of using an open link. If you prefer a private space, your wedding website can host photos directly for your household only.
