Where can you buy a ketubah in the UK or online?

Short answer

You can buy a ketubah from Jewish bookshops, synagogue shops, artists and online retailers in the UK. Many couples also commission a custom piece from a ketubah artist.

There are several places to find a ketubah in the UK. Jewish bookshops in major cities often stock ready-made ketubot in a range of styles. Synagogue shops may carry them too, and they can advise on what meets your community's requirements.

Online retailers based in the UK offer many designs, from traditional to modern. You can browse styles, compare prices and order for delivery. International online artists also ship to the UK, but check delivery times and any import rules before ordering.

Commissioning a custom ketubah is a popular choice. Artists work with you to choose the text, calligraphy, illustrations and frame. This lets you reflect your heritage, family history or personal story. Ask to see examples of their previous work and confirm how long the process takes.

If your synagogue has specific rules about the text or witnesses, ask the artist whether they can accommodate them. Some artists are familiar with Orthodox, Conservative and Reform requirements, while others prefer to keep the design purely decorative. Start your search early so you have time to review proofs and make changes if needed.
