Short answer
Use a phrase from your proposal, the name of the street where you first lived, your favourite holiday destination, or the title of a book you both love. Add a number, like a house number or a year.
Unique passwords come from your own story, not from a list. Think about moments your guests already know about, or that you can share on the invitation.
- The name of the café where you had your first date, plus the table number you sat at.
- The title of the film you watched on your first Valentine's Day, with the year.
- The name of the beach or park where you got engaged, followed by the date you met.
- Your joint favourite band's album name, with the track number of your song.
- The name of the city you visited on your first holiday together, plus the house number of your first flat.
Avoid anything that appears in your public engagement announcement, like the exact proposal location if you posted it. Use a variation, such as the street name instead of the venue name. Keep it memorable for guests, so you might want to write it on the save the date too, so they do not have to hunt for it later.
