Short answer
Micro wedding packages are all-in-one deals from venues or suppliers, designed for small guest lists, and they usually include the ceremony space, a registrar or celebrant, a meal, drinks and basic styling.
A micro wedding package simplifies planning by bundling the essentials into one price. Typical inclusions are the venue hire for a few hours, a ceremony room or outdoor spot, a wedding coordinator for the day, chairs and a table for signing the register, a toast drink, a set menu for your guests, and basic decorations such as candles or flowers. Some packages also include a photographer for a short time, a cake, or a small band or playlist. You will usually have a choice of dates, often on weekdays or Sundays, and the package is designed for a fixed number of guests, for example up to 20 or 30. You can often add extras, like a longer photography session, extra guests or a more elaborate meal. Remember that the legal part of the ceremony must follow the rules in your country. In England and Wales, you need two witnesses and you must give notice at least 28 days before. In Scotland, you need two witnesses aged 16 or over and you must submit a marriage notice at least 29 days before. In Northern Ireland, notice is at least 28 days. If a package includes a celebrant, check whether that ceremony is legally binding, especially in England and Wales, where humanist ceremonies are not legal on their own.
