Short answer
Choose a password that is meaningful to you both but not easy to guess, such as a pet's name, a favourite film quote, your first holiday destination, or a shared hobby. Add numbers or a special character to make it stronger.
Think about the little things that only you two know, but that are still easy for you to remember. A pet's name, the street where you first lived together, your favourite song lyric, or the name of the city where you got engaged all work well. You could also use a combination of your two nicknames, or the date you met written in a way that is not obvious, for example, "MetAtTheDogPark2021". Avoid using your full names, your wedding date, or the word "wedding" because those are too predictable.
Make it long enough to be secure, but not so long that guests struggle to type it. A phrase of two or three words with a number at the end is a good balance. For example, "SunflowerHike2019" or "OurFirstFlat22". If you want to add a special character, use one that is easy to find on a phone keyboard, like an exclamation mark or a full stop. Test it yourself on a phone and a computer to make sure it works.
Remember that the password is for your guests, not just for you. So choose something you are happy to share with your aunt and your boss. If you would rather keep a private joke private, pick a neutral but meaningful word instead, like the name of your favourite beach or your shared love of a certain food.
