How it beganOur story

Emily and James

How Emily and James met in 2019

They first crossed paths at a friend's birthday party in Oxford, where James was helping to set up the games and Emily was looking for a quiet corner to escape the noise.

A conversation about the best bookshop in town quickly turned into hours of chatting, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Getting there

The venue is located just outside the Cotswolds, with easy access from the M40 motorway and regular train services to nearby towns.

Where to stay

We have arranged a block of rooms at a local country house hotel for anyone travelling from out of town.

Dress code

Guests are kindly asked to wear smart casual attire for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, with a jacket and tie preferred for gentlemen.

Is the wedding suitable for children?

We would love to have children with us, but the evening reception is for adults only, so we have arranged a children's room with a babysitter from 8pm.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wedding is intimate, so we have only been able to invite named guests on the invitation. If your name is not listed, we hope you understand.

What should I do if I have dietary requirements?

Please let us know any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP, and our caterers will happily accommodate everyone.

Will there be accommodation for out-of-town guests?

Yes, we have reserved rooms at a nearby country house hotel, and we can help arrange lifts for the brunch the following morning.
