Sophie and Tom met while both were researching Greek island history at the British Library in London. They spent the afternoon comparing notes on ancient Cycladic trade routes and discovered a shared love of long walks and strong coffee.
After several weekends of meeting at the same table, they planned a trip to Santorini to see the very ruins they had studied. We would be delighted if you could join us there to celebrate the next chapter of their story.

Most guests will fly into Athens International Airport and take the scheduled ferry from Piraeus to Santorini. Transfers from the port to the venue will be arranged for those arriving on the same day.
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Aegean Terrace in Fira for the nights of 10–13 June. Guests are welcome to book additional nights independently if they wish to extend their stay.
Daytime events are smart casual; for the evening reception, think elegant resort wear. Gentlemen may prefer a lightweight suit or linen blazer, while ladies are encouraged to wear flowing dresses in light, breathable fabrics.
Santorini in June is warm and dry, with average highs around 28 °C. Sea breezes keep the evenings pleasant, but sun protection is essential during the day.
Yes, the menu includes a dedicated vegetarian mezze platter and a grilled halloumi salad. Please indicate any dietary needs when you reply.
Children are very welcome at the ceremony and brunch. For the evening reception, we recommend a babysitting service in Fira if you prefer a quieter evening.
The euro is the only legal tender. Card payments are widely accepted, but it is wise to carry a small amount of cash for taverna tips or market stalls.
