How it beganOur story

Shanice and Andre

A Shared Love of Soca and Storytelling, 2019

Shanice and Andre met at a Caribbean cultural showcase in Brixton, where Andre’s spoken word piece about island heritage moved Shanice to tears. They bonded over a mutual love of soca music, vintage dancehall records, and the way their families tell stories around the dinner table.

Their relationship grew through late-night talks, shared playlists, and trips to the Notting Hill Carnival, where they danced as if no one was watching. We are honoured to welcome you to celebrate their union, and we hope you bring your best energy and your loudest laugh.
